5th Anniversary at KOA

It's my 5th Anniversary at KOA ;)

Restaurant City

These two weeks had been a hard week without my boss hz. There is a 20 days tender to be done which is to be submitted on 22-Apr-09. After working for few year, I felt that dunno is always more fortunate than knowing. The more I know, the higher expectation I have of myself to know more.

Anyway, the print screen above shows my current craze at facebook. It's restaurant city from playfish. Quite addictive at the moment, yet always frustractted that I couldn't get the ingredients that I wanted. Should be able to keep me occupied after office hours at home.

Tomorrow got a Awareness Training for Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001:2007 at Grand Copthorne King's Hotel. hee... will have a nice buffet lunch after the Training ;D

Certified Greenmark Manager

Qi had just reminded something which I forgotten to share. I am now a Green Mark Manager... muahaha some consolation to myself ;P

Early for a Meeting...

I reached the consultants office at 850am, but was feeling strange as everybody seems to be late.. alas... I've got the timing wrong for a consultant meeting. Had Reached there at before 9am instead of 930am. So I went breakfast at the first storey cafe and returned back to the receptionist, but still early... The receptionist was kind enough to let me into the meeting room early... As I'm alone inside, started to take some photos inside. This is the only nice photo i have, at least, the complexion looks okay.

This morning went to Roxy Grand Mecure Hotel for TQM Lesson. Most attractive part of the agenda is the buffet lunch ;p

Photo at New Site Office

Here is the photo of my new table at the new site office at second storey. How is it? looks good hor, especially the new dell computer and the excellent internet connection! I'd like all the new things there and the construction environment, but how long can I seat there?

Yesterday and Today, I went to site office for the second half of the day. Today I stayed until 7:30pm. Hope that this thing can be regularised or better, full time ;P

New Bigger Table

Today's Monday, I sorta forgotten about it. The biggest mistake that I've made today is not bring my portable hdd to work -_-"

Went to site office with hz and our site office had moved from 1st storey to 2nd storey. I've got a new and bigger table already. There is also a new Asst M&E Engineer there to help with our paper work and Electrical stuff.

Dunno how much longer I can stay at the site office ;(

Completion of Green Mark Manager Course

Finally completed the Green Mark Manager (GMM) Course today. I could never expect a course to be so tough, it must be the 20-minutes presentation that kills me... Something sad is that I never studied for the Open-book 40 MCQs. Doraemon never wake me up last night lah, he says that I'm sleeping more than a pig...

Hope that I can pass the GMM.

Food Testing Lunch at Ritz Carlton

My Dinner & Dance this year would be at Ritz Carlton. There happened to be 2 extra seats and I happened to be at the correct place at the correct time..... Muahaha.... equals free lunch....

This year D&D would be on 18th December 2008, Thursday Evening. The theme is "SHINE".....

Anybody would like to have more than 200 worth of FREE spot the differences game????? Wah lao... I dunno why this type things would happen to me, It's not my favourite game... and this is only for electrical and extra low voltage (elv) services... Went through the drawings once with my boss today already, haiz.. consultant not so honest leh....

I need to check the drawings again to "make sure" that all consultant "dishonesty" are spotted out... Muahahaha *keelyn cries without tears*

Busy June, 忙しい六月

This week is Japanese Test Week, with the following schedule:
Monday, 2nd: Written Test (1hr)
Tuesday, 3rd: Listening Test & Dictation (1hr)
Thursday, 5th: Oral Test (1/2 Hr)

So little time, but so much things to learn >.< all ="X" align="left">Hope that I am safe and can do well enough.

It's doraemon's birthday this Saturday, celebration will begins this Friday Evening. It will be a big burn to my small pocket.

Doraemon so old liao, still dun want to get married hor.. haiz..

12th June is an important date all everybody in my department as it's the regional meeting. I'm attending and giving a 4 pages presentation for the greenmark stuff I've done. Quite a good opportunity hor.

The presentation would also shows the AHU Hoisting that I had spent so much time on, presentation by another Manager.

But I think if It would be better if I can just sit in and relax. Erm... No need to sit in also can lah ;P

My Primary School gathering on 14th June 2008, Saturday. I'll be preparing the F&B while straylamb will be the HR. So long did not meet everybody already.

It would be a fun and enjoyable BBQ at East Coast Park!

Dinner at Peach Garden Chinese Restaurant

Tonight had dinner at peach garden restuarant @ 33 at the Executives' club as a celebration for the greenmark award.


Here's our Menu:
Appetizer:

• Roasted Pork Cubes

Main:

• Roasted Peking Duct
• Double-boiled Assorted Seafood in Golden Melon Cup
• Fried Prawn with Wasabe Sauce accompanied with Deep-fried Soft Shell Crab
• Stewed Fillet of Sea Perch with Eggplant
• Braised Two Head Abalone with Mushroom and Broccoli
• Stewed Mee Pok with Assorted Seafood in XO Sauce

Dessert:

• Chilled Jelly Royale in Young Coconut

Roasted Pork Cubes - This dish is super nice, the skin is crispy and it's not oily. The only bad thing is that there's only two pieces per person.
Roasted Peking Duck - Typical Roasted Peking Duck, but where's the flesh?

Double-boiled Assorted Seafood in Golden Melon Cup - I'd like this soup a lot, and like to scrap the soft boiled melon too. Really nice, is it because I'm a soup person?
Fried Prawn with Wasabe Sauce accompanied with Deep-fried Soft Shell Crab - The Deep-fried Soft shell crab taste very crispy however abeit salthy. I don't like the Fried Prawn with Wasabe Sauce, maybe it's because I don't like the Wasabe. However i think it's very creative of the chef to put a small shred of cucumber inside the prawn.
Stewed Fillet of Sea Perch with Eggplant - The fish is crispy but the batter is a bit too thick. Eggplant taste Good. Overall, I think it can be done better!.
Braised Two Head Abalone with Mushroom and Broccoli - This Braised Two Head Abalone taste very Very GOOD. I'd like the texture, so chewy. However, after eating the abalone, the mushroom become so much inferior compared to the abalone.
Stewed Mee Pok with Assorted Seafood in XO Sauce - Don't really like this dish, is it because I'm already full or the gravy is starchy?
Chilled Jelly Royale in Young Coconut - I like almost all coconut dishes, so natually this taste good even though the combination is werid. haha...

I'd gain so much weight over such a short period of time =(

Assessment completed.

The two days greenmark assessment is finally over. We are awarded gold and there's some other items to be follow up in two weeks time. I feel so happy and relieved!

Fill in the blanks...

After rushing for more than 12 hours today (sunday) for the greenmark thing. I completed 6 sets of supporting documents and amended the slides and made 1+12 copies of the binded slides. What's left to be done is only a form (3 pgs of A4 only), but the form is too difficult for ME to fill in.

I really dunno how to fill in the stuff, as I am already arguing, scolding, F***ing my contractors/suppliers, just to obtain the cost savings.

How can the assessment be completed without this form... All my effort done seems to gone down the drain. =(

Working on a Saturday

Seems such a long time since I had to work on saturday. I have been avoiding working on saturday whenever possible. However this time round, I'm busy compiling the supporting documents and presentation slides for Greenmark presentation. I had completed the supporting documents already, the repeated work is due to the small stupid mistake which I made and causes so much tedious work to myself.

Let you have a glimpse of my table.... Seems so messy hor... Maybe my blue staple is buried somewhere under those documents. Those thick documents will be out soon.... The thick beige cover one will be out once I finished checking... and those files behind dots dots dots.....

See that mouse over there? It's Logictech MX™518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse. I would like to buy an identical mouse, but doesnt seems to find it anywhere. Anyone knows? It cost about $49 now, I bought it for S$58 if I remembered correctly.

Anyway.... Is my table nice?
