Completion of Green Mark Manager Course

Finally completed the Green Mark Manager (GMM) Course today. I could never expect a course to be so tough, it must be the 20-minutes presentation that kills me... Something sad is that I never studied for the Open-book 40 MCQs. Doraemon never wake me up last night lah, he says that I'm sleeping more than a pig...

Hope that I can pass the GMM.

Stomata?!?!?!

Came across this word during today's lesson on GREEN ROOFS & VERTICAL GREENING. Omg, the word stomata seems like a very difficult word to me now. From my little memory from my pure biology or lower secondary science class, does that word means the opening of the leaves which allows the plants to breathe? Hmmmm....

BCA Green Mark Award

My project had been awarded BCA Green Mark Award. My name was never highlighted in the chains of emails. I guessed that's the way things always works.

But I'm happy that the PM sent me an sms before the email to inform me =)

Greenmark CD

Finally cut my first CD. the Greenmark CD. With this Cd, there's a great sense of satisfaction yet so much hatred in it.

Assessment completed.

The two days greenmark assessment is finally over. We are awarded gold and there's some other items to be follow up in two weeks time. I feel so happy and relieved!

Good Manners or Good Upbringing...

I was "shopping" for arch files (6nos) as the greenmark supporting documents were too thick to be squeezed into one single file. After completing my transaction at the cashier, I stopped for a while as the plastic bag broke. The cashier gave me a new plastic bag so that I can carry the files properly. While holding the plastic bag in one hand, putting the receipts and card back into my wristlet in the other, the arch files were still on the floor.

A small boy behind me said "sorry", I thought he said that because he bumped slightly into the arch files. My first thoughts were, "His mother taught him quite well, the small boy was sensitive enough".

However the small boy said "sorry" again. At this moment, I realised the meaning behind the sorry. The sorry is to ask me to move away. I felt so disgusted with the small boy, is it I'm too sensitive or what? I would appreciate if some help is given, but not this type of "are u done? please don't jammed up the place" attitude.

Fill in the blanks...

After rushing for more than 12 hours today (sunday) for the greenmark thing. I completed 6 sets of supporting documents and amended the slides and made 1+12 copies of the binded slides. What's left to be done is only a form (3 pgs of A4 only), but the form is too difficult for ME to fill in.

I really dunno how to fill in the stuff, as I am already arguing, scolding, F***ing my contractors/suppliers, just to obtain the cost savings.

How can the assessment be completed without this form... All my effort done seems to gone down the drain. =(

Working on a Saturday

Seems such a long time since I had to work on saturday. I have been avoiding working on saturday whenever possible. However this time round, I'm busy compiling the supporting documents and presentation slides for Greenmark presentation. I had completed the supporting documents already, the repeated work is due to the small stupid mistake which I made and causes so much tedious work to myself.
