Dinner at Peach Garden Chinese Restaurant

Tonight had dinner at peach garden restuarant @ 33 at the Executives' club as a celebration for the greenmark award.


Here's our Menu:
Appetizer:

• Roasted Pork Cubes

Main:

• Roasted Peking Duct
• Double-boiled Assorted Seafood in Golden Melon Cup
• Fried Prawn with Wasabe Sauce accompanied with Deep-fried Soft Shell Crab
• Stewed Fillet of Sea Perch with Eggplant
• Braised Two Head Abalone with Mushroom and Broccoli
• Stewed Mee Pok with Assorted Seafood in XO Sauce

Dessert:

• Chilled Jelly Royale in Young Coconut

Roasted Pork Cubes - This dish is super nice, the skin is crispy and it's not oily. The only bad thing is that there's only two pieces per person.
Roasted Peking Duck - Typical Roasted Peking Duck, but where's the flesh?

Double-boiled Assorted Seafood in Golden Melon Cup - I'd like this soup a lot, and like to scrap the soft boiled melon too. Really nice, is it because I'm a soup person?
Fried Prawn with Wasabe Sauce accompanied with Deep-fried Soft Shell Crab - The Deep-fried Soft shell crab taste very crispy however abeit salthy. I don't like the Fried Prawn with Wasabe Sauce, maybe it's because I don't like the Wasabe. However i think it's very creative of the chef to put a small shred of cucumber inside the prawn.
Stewed Fillet of Sea Perch with Eggplant - The fish is crispy but the batter is a bit too thick. Eggplant taste Good. Overall, I think it can be done better!.
Braised Two Head Abalone with Mushroom and Broccoli - This Braised Two Head Abalone taste very Very GOOD. I'd like the texture, so chewy. However, after eating the abalone, the mushroom become so much inferior compared to the abalone.
Stewed Mee Pok with Assorted Seafood in XO Sauce - Don't really like this dish, is it because I'm already full or the gravy is starchy?
Chilled Jelly Royale in Young Coconut - I like almost all coconut dishes, so natually this taste good even though the combination is werid. haha...

I'd gain so much weight over such a short period of time =(
