Bangkok-Pattaya-Bangkok (9th to 15th Feb 2008) Summary
Thursday, February 14, 2008
at Pattaya Hard Rock Hotel now :)
I'm at the King's Club Lounge of Pattaya Hard Rock Hotel now. Will be checking out soon but out coach is 1630 from pattaya to bangkok, hope the coach will go back directly and be able to reach bangkok early this evening. I have not eaten any shark's fin, bird nest and abalone yet.
The two day's move to Pattaya is quite an impulsive move as it wasn't planned in the itinery at all, We paid more than S$300 per night for the hotel room in hard rock hotel, it's a king's club room. After enjoying the good service and amenties for two nights, we concluded that the fee paid is definately WORTH the PRICE and we will go back to Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya on our next visit.
I will update on the photos when I'm back.
Will be back on 15th-Feb-08, Friday.
I miss u all, will squeeze u hard when i see u.

Bangkok-Pattaya-Bangkok DAY2 (Part 1 - Evening)
After resting in Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square for a while after returning from Chatuchak, we went to the sport bar located at basement of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square. The bar is a very premier place to watch soccer matches, with more than 14 huge LCDs, pool table, soccer table, and lotsa other facilities, more importantly, super comfortable sofa seats!

We ordered some food for our dinner and to munch during the soccer match. The table setting is set so nicely.
Salmon for me.
Combo to share
Hamburger for doraemon
One of the huge screens, I did not take full picture of the pub :)

Bangkok-Pattaya-Bangkok DAY2 (Part 1 - Morning)
Itinerary for the day as follows:
Morning:
Morning:
Breakfast was at Baiyoke Suite Hotel, I feel that it's so cheap, 2200 baht for each night with breakfast included. Of course, the hotel was a bit old, however, the services are good. I left my nikon S7 camera at the lounge after breakfast and I was so relieved to be able get it back.
- Breakfast at Baiyoke Suite Hotel,
- Visited the Tallest Building in Tailand, Baiyoke Sky Hotel
- Booking of trip for Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya and Floating Market at Baiyoke Sky
My Breakfast
His Breakfast
Fresh Fruits, the pineapple is especially sweet!!!
After breakfast at Baiyoke Suite Hotel, we went to Baiyoke Sky Hotel to take a look at the highest building in thailand. They have got some props for photos taking at the highest few floor.
Me at Baiyoke Sky Hotel
Hehe, Fake Balloon
View from Up and Above The TALLEST building in Thailand!
See how big is the Bore Pile!!!
Bangkok-Pattaya-Bangkok DAY2 (Part 2 - Afternoon)
After booking our transport and hard rock hotel at pattaya. We booked out of baiyoke suite and proceed to check in at novotel bangkok on siam square. The rate cost about 4900 bhat per night (~S$220++). However, you pay for what u get hor. Here's the internal of the hotel room.

The Toilet
The Bed

Bar Counter & Wardrobe
After checking in and taking a short rest, we proceed on to chatuchak for the shopping, The journey there seems long and I fell asleep inside the taxi. Once we alight from the cab, we had dinner at this Toh Plue Restaurant. The price is quite steep, slightly more expensive than singapore food court price.

I had seafood Horfun, Tom Yum Soup & Coconut Ice-Cream *blush* while doraemon had pineapple rice. I'm going to eat a lot here :P

Me at Kamphaeng Phet Station (MRT)
After shopping at chatuchak, We took the MRT back to Novotel Bangkok at Siam Square. The MRT (Mass Rapit Transit) System there is quite confusing as it's not linked to BTS (SkyTrain). MRT is underground while BTS is aboveground, so while transfering, we need to exit the station.

Sky Train Station at Mo Chit
While walking back from the hotel, I bought my first food from the roadside food stall... IT's HEAVENLY =)
