Day out to Sentosa & Dragonfly

Today decided to go to sentosa and dragonfly. Yesterday missed out the trip with my colleagues, today must make up a bit. but the trip to sentosa is a bit short, only 3 hours plus only. Before that, went to vivocity to walk walk first. There's 4 people today, doraemon, Michael, Maggie & Me!

We had our early dinner (5++pm) at brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant in Vivo City. Lucky doraemon phoned me when maggie and I were queuing up for desserts at kopitiam. Otherwise, we would be having desserts instead of german food.


We share a schweinhaxe (pork knuckle) and assorted german sausage platter and of course, some german beer. Doraemon and Michael had 1 litre of german light, Maggie had grey earl tea and I had 0.5 litre of beer. A bit too early hor...


After the early dinner, Maggie and I pai-pai our Pi-gu, and proceed on to sentosa for song of the sea (I still call it musical fountain). That's the admission ticket to sentosa, we can get to keep that ticket.

That's the sentosa express that we took, It's blue in colour! however, this trip is completely different from my previous trip.



The admission ticket to sentosa and song of the sea are the same. There's only two shows for song of the sea per day at 7:40pm and 8:40pm. AdmissionTickets are sold at S$6, only available on the day itself at Beach Station Ticketing Counter.

In the meantime, we walk around sentosa to explore a bit. This is one of my best shot of the flower, after trying for XXX times...

Yawnz....天黑了。。。The merlion definately looks so much prettier at night. I had a hard time trying to use my camera. Seems that I still cannot use it properly on many occassion.

Although our show time is at 8:40pm (7:40pm tickets are sold out), we queue at the entry (kiasu a bit lah) at 8pm lidat. But hor, there is already a long queue already. So next time you go, must queue early hor.

Final picture are pictures of all the beautiful effect taken. I had a hard time taking these picture, so nervous when taking the fireworks, as there's only 3 times (we counted for the 7:40pm show while queuing outside). Anyway, I just keep on snapping away without the flash.

Sad to say, camera battery worn out after the show.
