First day of my "long" leave"

Today is the first day of my "long" leave. I am already beginning to feel frightened of my leave. The damage to my pocket is quite big. My baby brother, asked me to buy a cap & a pair of slippers for him. He also asked for a jacket but I decline. It cannot be i earning money, he spending for me right?

I had already bought a pair of shoes & a bag from Robinsons & John Little when shopping with my mother the other day. They seems to be enjoying the process of buying things without paying themselves. My heart and pockets can only feel hurt quietly....

Lol.. Here's what my brother bought. He bought a AND-1 cap ($19.90) (I dunno wtf brand is that lah, I would prefer nike or adidas), a pair of anti-smell balls to put inside shoes ($9.00) and another pair of billabong slippers ($19.90). I think that pair of slippers doesnt worth so much loh, but still have to pay unwillingly. Maybe it's the generation gap :(

After that, My grandma & I took a cab to IMM. Haizz, she's so old liao (more then 80 years old) that she cannot walk fast. I think we took half an hour to walk from our home to Lot 1 when it's a 5-10 minutes journey by foot.

However, it's completely different case once we stepped inside Giant located at IMM. That's her favourite hangout. She say liao, "only go there walk walk, no $ to buy things".... U think u can really believe women? My mother ALSO told me the same thing at Robinsons & John Little Loh...

That's me & my grandma, she's eager to find out which brand of ginger tea my auntie bought for her. Ended up we bought ginger tea with honey, cos she doesnt like milk tea.

See the stuff we bought!!! Got one whole tray of eggs (30 eggs) and a big bottle of washing detergent. This type of stuff also covered under me?!?!? Total spent $100.07, still ok? We bought minced meat, pork tail, pork leg, prime ribs (4 different types of pork leh) and other stuff lah. Walk walk only hor... I feel so stress to see the trolley pilling up.


I bought some shanghai dumpling skin or something lidat, tried to do some fried dumplings, the filling consist of fish, minced pork & prawns. I also prepared some no-prawns dumplings for my mummy, cos she's allergic to seafood.

Here's the fried dumpling, taste quite good, maybe it would taste better if I do it like GuoTie(锅贴), soft & crispy. Maybe I dislike things that are hard.

I also cooked some vegetables with straw mushrooms. Paiseh, I dunno what vegetable is that, if you know what is it, tell me hor, I don't really know how to recognise a variety of vegetables, except for a few common types.

This one is a very basic dish, fried ommelette. :)
