Baby Pandan Chiffon Cake

Did a 2nd attempt at the Baby Pandan Chiffon Cake. From my first Attempt, the result is not so good as doraemon commented about the "not so pandan" baby pandan chiffon cake. But this time, i've made adjusted and have a more lazy attempt with the recipe.

Step 1: Steamed Grated Coconuts
Grated Coconut (50g)
salt (1 pinch)
Corn Flour (1/2 teaspoon)

Steam the grated coconut. After mixing, add salt and corn flour. Put some steamed grated coconuts into base plastic moulds. Use another mould to compress the steamed grated coconut. Do the same for all the moulds.

Whisked Egg Mixture
Egg (1 egg)
Sugar (50g)
Ovalette (1/2 teaspoon)

Beat Mixture 2 until almost white and fluffy.

Coconut Pandan Mixture (Total 75ml)
Coconut Milk
Fresh Pandan Juice
a pinch of salt

Got some Fresh Pandan Juice using my juice extractor. It wasnt really an easy task. I think my juice extractor is too powerful for the small amount of fresh pandan. I used about 2 bunches of pandan leaves. I topped up this mixture to total 75ml

Self Raising Flour
Self Raising Flour (75g)

After preparing all the ingredients. I fold in Coconut Pandan Mixture and Self Raising Flour into the Whisked Egg Mixture.

And the final product is put inside the prepared plastic moulds and steamed ;)

The product ready to be steamed
This is the final product. I'm sure maggie would like this much more, I don't like the pale green colour. However, this really taste so much better, it must be the fresh pandan juice used.
