I got a NEW luggage!!!

Went to Chinatown with doraemon looking for a luggage. My old one which was bought ten years ago is no longer as effective as before. The rubber of the wheels had worn off and pulling the trolley luggage bag is no longer smooth.

I'd thought of just changing the wheels, but the location of changing the wheels is at kaki bukit. $8 for each wheels, (total $32 excluding 2 two ways trips taxi fare). The price to change the wheels is a costly as compared to a new luggage. But i still like the old one a lot because it's bought for me by my parents

Hehe... here is my new lojel super 7000 luggage. It cost $120 for a 24" luggage bag. The same one cost $165 at AMK hub. You know lah, chinatown this type of places can bargain one :P It's exactly the same as my old one, except for the colour. (^.^)V

Don't forget to bring an extra bag with you. Sure bring a lot more back when you go.

Don't forget Platinum and Chinatown for cheap cheap shopping. Go for a good massage after a tiring day of shopping.

If you like Jap food, the Jap resturant at Siam Paragon serve good and cheap meals.

For good Thai food, go to Asoke station and eat at Suda Resturant beside Sheraton Hotel. Good food there too.

If you go Patpong night market, if you want to see Thaigirl show, make sure you negotiate the price and go to the big ones at the main road. Don't go to those at Level 2 or small lanes.

Don't forget the Chatuchak market during the weekend daytime and Suan Lum Market at night for some music and food in open air and can take ferry wheel if you like.

If got time, take one morning to go Grand Palace. Just around 70 baht from your hotel. Wear a proper shoe, pants and sleeve shirt. Its a very nice place.

Hope you have an enjoyable trip

It's near the garden bridge, the 2nd storey entrance to the building, the first shop on the right, with red & white signboard.

Hi Keelyn

Do you have the add for the place in Kaki Bukit to change the wheels for the luggage? Do you know if they do on the spot also? Thanks heaps!
