Sunday's Cooking: Kway Teow Mee Soup
Remember last time hokkien mee, I bought wrongly hor, bought kway teow instead of white mee... Haiz... now hor, got kway teow & some yellow mee left. So today decided to cook kway teow mee soup... Found some pork belly inside the fridge, seems that 猪油渣 seems quite delicious to me, So I cut the fats of the pork belly into small pieces and turned them into 猪油渣! Some places 猪油渣 are quite big pieces, eat liao feels very oily. But I cut into very tiny pieces and drain off exess oil.
You know how 猪油渣 is being cooked? You just take the fats and put inside the pan/wok, turn the flame to the smallest and slowly, the oil will seep out and the remains is 猪油渣. Quite easy hor.
