I decided to pull a filling of crabmeat, cheese & fish, simple seasonings will do. As usual, I added some seasoning, and mixed herbs as well. For the filling to "stick" to the mushroom, just follow step 1,2 & 3 will do. Need to put some flour first, then the filling wont drop easily.
Still remember how to bread your stuff?
1) Flour
2) Egg
3) Breadcrumbs
Simple 3 steps which never goes wrong!
May refer to here for slightly more details
Today show u the tiny pan which I uses to cook all my food. Yes! including that hokkien mee, that's why I cannot even fry, can only stir... lol.. which results in a not-so-nice hokkien mee. Can see that the oil is very high hor, deep frying, must use high heat one, if you are using electrical deep fryer, normally temperature is set at 170 deg celsius to 190 deg celsius. My advise i always put in at 190 deg, then reduced the temperature for the food to be cook and not burn and increase again before taking the food out. increasing the temperature again will ensure that the deep fried food does not have the oily taste.
Tata!!! The finished product...... stuffed portobello mushroom.... Hmmm taste good when the cheese is still melting!
